Wow… what a start to the year!
With only 6 months under our belt, the WNC has grown to 7 clubs and over 700 members!
The Wales National Championships is an alliance of clubs from across the country that is designed to promote and champion the clubs and events within. We believe table top games clubs are a force for good and that membership isnt a zero sum game, so why not help each other out!
The Warhammer 40k League alone has had 13 events held across the country from Connah’s Quay to Cardiff. That’s over 100 players, playing 3900 games in just over 11,000 hours of competative, World Team Championship standard Warhammer 40k! This is a signifcant step towards growing the grass roots and building a stronger community for the future. Give yourselves a pat on the back, that’s mighty impressive.
So we want to look back over the past six months, share some memories, and take a moment to thank our members clubs and share with you the successes they have had!

The top cut from each region are competeing for a place at the invitational on December the 6th/7th, the invitational will help form the Welsh team of 2026, so competition has been fierce but good spirited.

Warhammer Old World!
The Warhammer old world is also entering the WTC this year, and there is a hell of a buzz across Wales as player rush to build community and develop links between clubs to build the welsh team of the future!
