This past weekend marked a historic milestone for the Welsh Warhammer community: the launch of the first-ever North Wales Open (WNC), a two-day, five-game singles event that brought players from across the country together to celebrate the return of the Old World.

We were proud to host the dedicated fans of the burgeoning community and provide the foundations for a future where Old world reigns supreme!
The Champions of the Old World
The event delivered thrilling battles across beautifully painted armies, with generals leading their forces through the highs and lows of classic fantasy warfare. When the dust settled, three players stood above the rest:

First Place: Yanie Asprou with his Dwarf Expeditionary Force
Second Place: Oliver Mathers (Team Wales Captain) with his Beastmen Brayherds
Third Place: Nick Walsh (Deeside Defenders) with his High Elves
The mix of armies on the podium showcased the rich variety the Old World has to offer, from the resilience of the Dwarfs to the wild fury of the Brayherds, all the way to the elegance and precision of the High Elves.
